Job Responsibilities:
Paper titled 'Deformation constrained support-structure optimization for laser powder bed fusion' has been published in Additive Manufacturing Journal. The paper proposes a strategy to minimize the amount of frame-type support structures constrained by allowable layer-wise part deformation. Contributions of the paper:
Teaching Machine Component Design course for undergraduate students. Course involves material and component selection, static failure theories, fatigue life, bearing selections, gear and shaft design.
Judged high school student projects under Physical and Environmental Sciences (PES) category. Have been judging the event since 2019.
Successfully defended my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Presented my research on multi-load support optimization for LPBF at the SFF Symposium in Austin, Texas.
Was selected for the prestigious Morgridge Entrepreneurial Bootcamp started by John Morgridge, philanthropist, former CEO/Chair of Cisco and UW Alum. Also gave a speech at the celebration dinner.
Was selected for the Wisconsin Experience Bus Trip along with 40 other student leaders on campus. Went around the state of Wisconsin to understand the community, met Native American leaders, Business Owners, National Park Rangers, and more.
Successfully completed Research Mentor Training conducted by Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) as a member of 2023 Spring cohort.
