Job Responsibilities:

• Structural analysis of truck components at component, sub-assembly, and full-assembly levels.
• Predict durability under road excitations and engine inputs, and validate through FEA and physical testing.
• Full vehicle multibody dynamic simulation.
• Drive design optimization and ML/AI integration in simulations.

• Presented my research on Prediction of Clay Drying in ceramic 3D printing at the SFF Symposium in Austin, Texas.
• Peer-reviewed paper titled 'Predictive Modeling of Drying Process in Clay 3D Printing' got published.
• Also presented a poster on 'Part Deformation Constrained Multi-Load Support Optimization for Laser Powder Bed Fusion'

Paper titled 'Deformation constrained support-structure optimization for laser powder bed fusion' has been published in Additive Manufacturing Journal. The paper proposes a strategy to minimize the amount of frame-type support structures constrained by allowable layer-wise part deformation. Contributions of the paper:

• Use of evolving frame-support for evolving geometries
• Coupled system analysis where part and supports are analyzed in tandem
• Multi-load Optimization:
• Objective: minimize support material
• Constraints:
  • Vertical Deformation to prevent recoater collision
  • Total Deformation for better geometric accuracy
  • Minimum and Maximum thickness of frame members for manufacturability
  

Teaching Machine Component Design course for undergraduate students. Course involves material and component selection, static failure theories, fatigue life, bearing selections, gear and shaft design.

Judged high school student projects under Physical and Environmental Sciences (PES) category. Have been judging the event since 2019.

Successfully defended my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Presented my research on multi-load support optimization for LPBF at the SFF Symposium in Austin, Texas.

Was selected for the prestigious Morgridge Entrepreneurial Bootcamp started by John Morgridge, philanthropist, former CEO/Chair of Cisco and UW Alum. Also gave a speech at the celebration dinner.

Was selected for the Wisconsin Experience Bus Trip along with 40 other student leaders on campus. Went around the state of Wisconsin to understand the community, met Native American leaders, Business Owners, National Park Rangers, and more.

Successfully completed Research Mentor Training conducted by Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) as a member of 2023 Spring cohort.

Was a part of 2023 Spring cohort for the Research Mentor Training as a part of The Delta Program in Research, Teaching and Learning at UW-Madison
